Location and atmosphere
Located at the start of the panoramic trail from Vernazza to Corniglia, the tower overlooks the village, the Ligurian Sea and the surrounding hills. A private Mediterranean garden, with pergolas, terraces and shaded dining areas, offers peaceful outdoor spaces immersed in nature.
The tower
On the ground floor, a spacious and atmospheric area features a double bed, dining space with artistic table, a small kitchenette (fridge, electric cooker and Nespresso machine) and a bathroom with shower. Ancient elements, such as a marble sink, are combined with unique artworks created by the owners, sculptor Giorgio and his wife, a theatre director.
The upper levels are reached via narrow wooden stairs and preserve the tower’s medieval soul. The first floor hosts a cosy room with a handmade French bed, while the top level offers a single bed and extraordinary, uninterrupted views over Vernazza and the sea.
What makes Muìn a Véntu unique
Built in 1100 AD, the tower was originally a windmill and later became a cultural refuge restored by theatre director Aldo Trionfo, welcoming artists, actors and composers. Its role as inspiration for the film LUCA adds to its magical appeal. Thick stone walls, natural ventilation and the surrounding garden keep interiors pleasantly cool.
