Positive: We were welcomed with a generous selection of pastries and jams for breakfast. The apartment was very clean, authentically decorated, with beautiful views. Quiet, no traffic or street noise. If you’re looking for a genuine Italian experience, this could be a great apartment to stay.

Negative: The listing said it was a three-bedroom house, but in reality, it’s a two-bedroom apartment. When we arrived, the apartment was very warm, at least 30 degrees. The upstairs air conditioner was leaking, so we didn’t feel comfortable using it, even though we would have liked to. The walls are quite thin — you can hear the neighbors walking or using the bathroom. Although it was really quiet everywhere so you could hear everything . We arrived about 45 minutes earlier than planned since traffic was light. Unfortunately, we had to wait in the car until the hosts arrived, even though the key was already in the keybox and we could have gone in right away. After a long drive, that was a bit frustrating. Access to the apartment is only via stairs, so carrying large suitcases can be a challenge. A few electrical outlets didn’t work, and some lamps were out of order.
