"The Castle of Beviglie holiday home" of the thirteenth century It is located in the heart of green Umbria, in the center of Italy, a few kilometers from Assisi, at a height of about 350 s. L.M. with an exceptional view of the Piana di Assisi with Santa Maria degli Angeli and Perugia.
Access to the property is independent, with adjoining parking, small garden with olive trees. Entering the apartment you will have the room with vaulted ceilings, fireplace 2 sofas and table. On your right you will have access to the equipped kitchen in the tower and ready to use.
Coming out of the kitchen through the hall, you will enter the sleeping area with 2 bedrooms that for the occasion can become triple and a bathroom with shower.
The place is suitable for families with children and for nature lovers and a great romantic get-away. The second apartment is on the first floor, composed of a living room with fireplace, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. It can accommodate max 6 people. It has parking space. So in total 12 pax.
The Castle of Beviglie having about 800 years, has very thick walls (about 3 meters) and therefore does not need the A / C.

Summary: Ahhh...The medieval castle stay remains a highlight of my recent trip to Italy. This is a very clean, well equipped and beautifully located place. Much larger and more beautiful than the online photos can reveal. Gianpaolo and Rafaela are warm, knowledgeable and simply delightful. Step outside of the castle (surrounded by olive groves and vineyards) in the evening to watch the sun setting over the rolling Umbrian countryside below. We loved the quiet all around but were still near to restaurants, shops and Assisi. It would be a fun area to explore on bike. The town of Assisi is a short easy drive. I hope to be back one day!
